Exciting Partnership: NaviFUS and Bracco Join Forces to Revolutionize Brain Disease Treatment!

In April, NaviFUS entered into a cooperation agreement with Bracco, a global leader in ultrasound imaging agents, to enhance the NaviFUS® System’s capability to open the blood-brain barrier (BBB) for the treatment of brain cancers and neurological diseases. This year, the system will be tested in several clinical trials, marking a significant advancement in non-invasive therapies.

NaviFUS General Manager Arthur Lung shared that a visit from Bracco CEO Fulvio Renoldi Bracco strengthened their shared vision and product synergy. A crucial clinical trial aimed at treating recurrent glioblastoma is set to commence at National Taiwan University and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in the last quarter of the year.

At the 2024 International Society for Therapeutic Ultrasound (ISTU) conference in Taipei, Bracco’s R&D team leader will visit NaviFUS to explore further collaboration. This includes the supply of ultrasound contrast agents and the development of microbubble products to enhance BBB disruption.

NaviFUS and Bracco are collaborating to introduce innovative, less invasive treatments to brain tumor patients, providing new hope for improved care.
